JEAN TALENTS / SKILLS
Normal Attack: Performs up to 5 consecutive strikes.
Charged Attack: Consumes a certain amount of stamina to launch an opponent using the power of wind.
Launched opponents will slowly fall to the ground.
Plunging Attack: Plunges from mid-air to strike the ground below, damaging opponents along the path and dealing AoE DMG upon impact.
Gale Blade (Elemental Skill): Focusing the might of the formless wind around her blade, Jean releases a miniature storm, launching opponents in the direction she aims at, dealing massive Anemo DMG.

At the cost of continued stamina consumption, Jean can command the whirlwind to pull surrounding opponents and objects towards her front.

Dandelion Breeze (Elemental Burst): Calling upon the wind’s protection, Jean creates a swirling Dandelion Field, launching surrounding opponents and dealing Anemo DMG. At the same time, she instantly regenerates a large amount of HP for all party members. The amount of HP restored scales off Jean’s ATK.

- Continuously regenerates HP of characters within the AoE and continuously imbues them with Anemo.

FULL HEALER: In the early game you should build her as full healer. Focus on ATK, Energy Recharge, some EM is benificial to get some damage out of her swirl.
BURST SUB DPS: As you progress you can build her as burst damage dealer. Focus ATK then Anemo DMG, CR, CD followed by ER and EM.
These are also general recommendations, you will need to alter your artifacts and stat builds based on what content you want to use this character for and what team you are using him/her with, however, these are consider among the best swords for Jean. A general rule for DPS units are CR is roughly 50% of your CD.
JEAN CONSTELLATIONS
Spiraling Tempest (Lvl 1): Increases the pulling speed of Gale Blade after holding for more than 1s, and increases the DMG dealt by 40%.
People’s Aegis (Lvl 2): When Jean picks up an Elemental Orb/Particle, all party members have their Movement SPD and ATK SPD increased by 15% for 15s.
When the West Wind Arises (Lvl 3): Increases the level of Celestial Shower by 3. Maximum upgrade level is 15.
Lands of Dandelion (Lvl 4): Within the Field created by Dandelion Breeze, all opponents have their Anemo RES decreased by 40%.
Outbursting Gust (Lvl 5): Increases the Level of Gale Blade by 3. Maximum upgrade level is 15.
Lion’s Fang, Fair Protector of Mondstadt (Lvl 6): Incoming DMG is decreased by 35% within the Field created by Dandelion Breeze. Upon leaving the Dandelion Field, this effect lasts for 3 attacks or 10s.
STRENGTHS / WEAKNESSES
STRENGTHS:
- Jean is a top notch healer in Genshin Impact!
- Her burst can do a lot of damage with high investment and also super realiable AoE heal.
- Her charge attack can utilize fall damage or even knock enemies completely off a cliff.
WEAKNESSES
- Her burst has a really long cool down.
- She needs a lot of investment to make her more than just a healer.
- To launch an enemy with her charge attack you need to be within 20 levels of your enemy or else it won’t work.
RANKING
Combat Rating (6/10): Jean is a Jedi and can do a lot of fun manipulating enemies and send them flying, however, her combat ability isn’t practical. She’s used for healing and burst DPS in end game.
Exploration (2/10): She doesn’t offer anything unique in terms of efficiency in exploring the map. She can pick up enemies and send them over cliffs which is satisfying and fast in a way.
Spiral Abyss (8/10): She is a strong healer here and can reliable heal your entire team.
Artifact Farming (8/10): She serves the same role here as she does in the Abyss.
Normal/Weekly Bosses (6/10): She’s good in the early game, but as you get higher level you tend to remove healers in place of shields. This allows you to nuke the boss down as quickly as possible.
