DILUC BUILDS / STRATEGY
HP | ATK | ATK% | PYRO% | CD%/CR%
MAIN DPS: Diluc is a pretty easy and straight forward DPS to build. He needs ATK, Pyro DMG, CR, CD. You can squeeze EM and ER out of him but don’t do it at the cost of more damage.
These are also general recommendations, you will need to alter your artifacts and stat builds based on what content you want to use this character for and what team you are using him/her with, however, these are consider among the best claymore for Diluc. A general rule for DPS units are CR is roughly 50% of your CD.
DILUC CONSTELLATIONS

Searing Ember (Lvl 2): When Diluc takes DMG, his ATK increases by 10% and his ATK SPD increases by 5%. Lasts for 10s.
This effect can stack up to 3 times and can only occur once every 1.5s.

Maximum upgrade level is 15.

STRENGTHS / WEAKNESSES
STRENGTHS:
- Diluc is a very fun and pretty solid DPS character in Genshin Impact!
- He serves duel purpose in exploration as a dps unit and ore farmer. This saves a lot of time so you don’t have to keep switching out different units while traveling the map.
- His plunge attack deals a lot of damage.
- All of constellations keep boosting his damage output. This is nice since he’s on the standard banner which means his constellations are easier to come by.
WEAKNESSES
- His dps overall speed is relatively slow when compared to other pyro dps units in the game.
- His uptime in his ability to apply pyro damage is poor and inconsistent.
- You’ll need to learn how to animation cancel after his 3rd attack since the delay makes you very vunerable.
- You’ll also need to learn his plunge attacks to really get the most out of him. This is also near impossible if you are a mobile user.
- His 1st passive is really pointless on him unless you build him on a physical damage build.
RANKING
Combat Rating (7/10): Diluc is easy to use but is more complicated than people think. You will need to practice animation cancel to avoid delay on his normal attack. To get his max dps, you need to also practice his plunge attacks.
Exploration (9/10): He is an excellent character for exploration since he can handle enemies and mine ores, crystals, etc which you will be farming……a lot.
Spiral Abyss (6/10): He can be used here, however his dps output isn’t and will make it more difficult to get all the stars in the higher levels.
Artifact Farming (8/10): This varies based on each dungeon. Overall he can do a good job helping your farm in this content.
Normal/Weekly Bosses (8/10): He shines against 1v1 enemies and with the proper team can do a lot of damage.
