NINGGUANG TALENTS / SKILLS
Normal Attack: Shoots gems that deal Geo DMG.
Upon hit, this grants Ningguang 1 Star Jade.
Charged Attack: Consumes a certain amount of stamina to fire off a giant gem that deals Geo DMG.
If Ningguang has any Star Jades, unleashing a Charged Attack will cause the Star Jades to be fired at the enemy as well, dealing additional DMG.
Plunging Attack: Gathering the might of Geo, Ningguang plunges towards the ground from mid-air, damaging all opponents in her path. Deals AoE Geo DMG upon impact with the ground.
Jade Screen (Elemental Skill): HNingguang creates a Jade Screen out of gold, obsidian and her great opulence, dealing AoE Geo DMG.
Jade Screen
- Blocks opponents’ projectiles.
- Endurance scales based on Ningguang’s Max HP.
Jade Screen is considered a Geo Construct and can be used to block certain attacks, but cannot be climbed. Only one Jade Screen may exist at any one time.
COOLDOWN: 12s
Starshatter (Elemental Burst): Gathering a great number of gems, Ningguang scatters them all at once, sending homing projectiles at her opponents that deal massive Geo DMG.
If Starshatter is cast when a Jade Screen is nearby, the Jade Screen will fire additional gem projectiles at the same time.

NINGGUANG PASSIVE
Backup Plan: When Ningguang is in possession of Star Jades, her Charged Attack does not consume Stamina.

Main DPS: If you want to build her has your main focus on ATK, GEO Damage, CR, and CD on her folowed with some ER to get her burst up sooner.
Burst SUB DPS: In this build, it’s pretty much the same as a main dps, however, you want to prioritize ER so she can have it ready to spam more often.
These are also general recommendations, you will need to alter your artifacts and stat builds based on what content you want to use this character for and what team you are using him/her with, however, these are consider among the best catalysts for Ningguang. A general rule for DPS units are CR is roughly 50% of your CD.
NINGGUANG CONSTELLATIONS
Piercing Fragments (Lvl 1): When a Normal Attack hits, it deals AoE DMG.
Shock Effect (Lvl 2): When Jade Screen is shattered, its CD will reset.
Can occur once every 6s.
Majesty be the Array of Stars (Lvl 3): Increases the Level of Starshatter by 3.
Maximum upgrade level is 15.
Exquisite be the Jade, Outshining All Beneath (Lvl 4): Jade Screen increases nearby characters’ Elemental RES by 10%.
Invincible be the Jade Screen (Lvl 5): Increase the Level of Jade Screen by 3.
Maximum upgrade level is 15.
Grandeur be the Seven Stars (Lvl 6): When Starshatter is used, Ningguang gains 7 Star Jades.
STRENGTHS / WEAKNESSES
STRENGTHS:
- Ningguang is a great range DPS character in Genshin Impact!
- She’s very beginner friendly since she can put up a shield and is range to avoid close up dmg.
- She is amazing against the Rifthounds as they are super annoying and move around a lot.
- Her E can be used as a great shield against projectiles if you have a bow main dps like Ganyu.
WEAKNESSES
- She is more of a niche character and best roles are in a niche team.
RANKING
Combat Rating (8/10): Her play style is something you have to get used to. There are advance tricks to speed her dps output. However, she is still beginner friendly since you can learn the other tricks as you use her more often.
Exploration (9/10): She is really great for exploring the map because she serves 3 maine purpose. Her passive helps you find ores, she can mine them, and she’s a dps character. This makes her super useful on your exploration team.
Spiral Abyss (7/10): She is really good here in specific comps to deal with Rifthounds.
Artifact Farming (7/10): He serves the same role here as he does in the Abyss.
Normal/Weekly Bosses (8/10): She’s a 1v1 dps character and really shines in these scenarios to deal big damage to the bosses.
